Sermon Message: "The Secret to God's Peace"
God’s peace is political. God is concerned with how governments, powers, and authorities treat people. ()
This might include: working for the advancement of democracy, human rights, and religious liberty; pushing for just and sustainable economic conditions through acts of compassion; or establishing dialogue between enemies.
God’s peace is personal. God invites us into his peace and desires for our relationships to be marked by peace. One aspect of this is the inner sense of being settled and content emotionally. God develops this peace in us by assuring us that he is always with us and reminding us not to worry about the future.

God’s peace cushions the soul during difficult times, and regardless of troubled surroundings.(Gal. 5:22)
Christians can experience a cushion of peace in their souls regardless of their troubled surroundings. That’s because they belong to God, who is the source of peace; they serve Christ, who is the Prince of Peace; and they are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, who is the agent of peace
